After an Indian male law professor publicly shamed a female student for wearing shorts to class, her fellow students protested by writing about the incident on Facebook and wearing shorts to class the next day.
The professor at Benglauru’s well-known National Law School of India allegedly made sexist remarks to the third year female student and asked her to “dress properly”. Her classmates took to Facebook to criticise the incident. According to the note, when the student later approached the professor to object the statement, she was rebuked by him again. Read more…
